Affectional orientation is another term for sexual orientation. It is based on the viewpoint that one's orientation is not restricted to sexuality but also to one's affectionality. A society is a grouping of individuals, which is characterized by common interests and may have distinctive culture and institutions. In a society, members can be from a different ethnic group.
